add the ability to print grade summaries for each student
It's nice the teacher can print the class grades for each test or term, but wouldn't it be nice to have a print out for each student? It's like an automatic progress report for each kid! There should be room for teacher's to write a comment into each student report.

Adding a teacher comment for every report would be awesome. It would also be great if we could print out a grade report for each student with comments by the teacher, and choose which specific grades we wanted to include!

Any idea when this will be available? Our school secretary keeps getting requests for printed transcripts and grade reports which she currently has to do almost by hand because this feature is not yet available.

I'd like to second (or third, fourth, whatever...) the comments contained in this thread. I'm currently looking for an LMS for my professorial duties and Haiku is high on my list, but it has a few weaknesses. I definitely want to be able to print individual student grades, notes, etc.

The more customizable the better. My school would use something like this in place of our current Report Card. Attendance, grades, comments, etc, school logo and other info. Then download as a pdf so it isn't tampered with and sent out in the email.

As a school administrator, the ability to print a grade summary for each student at semester- and year-end would be of great benefit for our office staff. Thanks for pursuing this!

This tool needs to provide teachers the ability to include their Comments and Notes to Self if they want. Several teachers have also asked for the ability to add additional comments (sometimes at length) to the grade report for each grading period.

I couldn't agree more! I NEED this feature, particularly when I'm conferencing with borderline (or failing) students!!

I agree. The gradebook export has way too much miscellaneous information. Last time I had to spend a lot of time paring down the information by deleting columns that it would almost have been easier to just retype it myself.
Also, my parents would love to be able to print a grade report for their students.

Maybe not just grades but this can include a little box for an attendance summary and a mini-graph of a performance trend over time.

How about the ability to export the GRADEBOOK? I know you can export it to a spreadsheet, but there is so much overlap of info that it almost useless. Some of our faculty like a hard copy.
