Put an icon in the gradebook to show that work has been submitted but not graded.

Agreed, I can see the need for this, and although there are non-technology based solutions that can work, the cleanest way is to centralize the invitations through the domain admin. We are adding this to our roadmap. Thanks, Mike.

I encourage you try Haiku LMS out, you may find that the Roster Sections tool does exactly what you need to share items between sections of a class.

Good suggestion. We are planning to add immediate inbox to email notification to haiku LMS in the future. We will update here when that project gets underway.
